AUBURN – Meineke Muffler defeated O’Shea’s, 11-4, in the Auburn Player’s League Softball Upper Deck Division.

Meineke scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a 5-1 lead. Brad O’Connor had a bases-clearing triple, and Scott Albert picked up 2=two RBI’s with a double.

The Mufflermen sealed the deal with six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, highlighted by a grand slam from Greg Rose. O’Shea’s put up two runs in the top of the seventh inning.

John Langelier was the winning pitcher.
