LEWISTON — The wedding of Amanda Carol Baillargeon and Robert Allen DeFlumere Jr. was held at 1 p.m. on Nov. 14 at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. The Rev. Robert Vaillancourt officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Leo and Gail Baillargeon of Lewiston. The bridegroom is the son of Robert and Teresa DeFlumere Sr. of Roswell, Ga.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of organza with fitted bodice, halter neckline, split front A-line skirt and semi-Cathedral train. The gown was accented with Swarovski crystals and bugle beads. She carried a bouquet of colorful Calla lilies.

The flowers for the wedding and the wedding cake were designed by the father of the bride.

Rhonda Mynahan, cousin of the bridegroom, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Roy, Jillian Begin and Kayla DeSalle, friends of the bride, and Celeste Horan, cousin of the bride. Eleanor Baillargeon, niece of the bride, and Brooklyn Mynahan, cousin of the bridegroom, were flower girls.

Joseph Mynahan, cousin of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were Greg Rocks and Michael Fisher, friends of the bridegroom, and Patrick Mynahan and John Mynahan, cousins of the bridegroom. Jack Madden, cousin of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to North Conway, N.H. They are residing in Maine.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Lewiston High School and received a bachelor’ s degree in elementary education from Endicott College. She is a second grade teacher in Lewiston.

The bridegroom is a 1990 graduate of Fairhaven Massachusetts High School and is a computer analyst for Verizon Wireless.
