AUBURN — The Auburn Police Department issued a warning Monday that the department handled 10 criminal mischief complaints in the last six days.
According to a posting on its Facebook page, the police department reported that all of the 10 complaints involved broken windows in vehicles and businesses. It is believed that most of the damage was caused by a BB gun during the overnight hours.
The incidents do not appear centralized to one area of Auburn and have occurred on Court Street, Center Street, South Main Street, Hotel Road and Minot Avenue. Police are asking that residents keep an eye out for suspicious vehicles or persons in their neighborhoods and report them to the police.
