MECHANIC FALLS — A dance scheduled for Sunday, July 25, at the Silver Spur will help Dean and Shirley Brackett pay medical expenses for Dean’s cancer treatments.

The dance will be from  3:30 to 8 p.m. There will be a food bar, 50/50 drawing and raffles.

Admission to the event put on by friends and  family of the Down East Country Music Association is $5 at the door.

 Among those slated to perform are Bill Giasson & Over The Hillbillies Band, Lolalee & The Country Bandits, Country Jim Palmer & Paula Kaiser and Potpourri.
