Members of the Gray-New Gloucester Girl Scout Troop 739 saved can tabs and turned them in to the Ronald McDonald House recently. The day started off with a tour of the Barbara Bush wing at Maine Medical, where they each donated a bag of art supplies for the children who stay there. The next stop was the Ronald McDonald House with the tabs. They saved the tabs for several months, coming up with a grand total of about 10 pounds. While there, they took a tour of the house. They earned their Community Builders Patch, which serves as a record of a girl’s adventures and accomplishments as a Girl Scout. From left, Kelsey, Emily and Katherine are pictured in front of the Ronald McDonald House.
