L/A Arts will host a talk with visionary artist Helen Warren from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 23, at Gallery 5. Owner of Creative Spiral Studio in Litchfield, Warren is one of 25 artists featured in the current exhibit, “In Contrast.” She will talk about her creative process and show slides of her recent work. “My creative process is a place to let my mind relax, to listen within and embrace what is present, then to allow my authentic self, my soul, to reveal itself in my images,” said Warren. Gallery 5 is at 49 Lisbon St., Lewiston. “In Contrast” will be up through Aug. 7.
