1918 – 2010

FARMINGTON — Marion I. Porter, 91, of Chesterville passed peacefully on Wednesday, July 21, at Sandy River Nursing Care Center in Farmington.

She was born Oct. 16, 1918, in Weld, a daughter of William and Mary (Taylor) Turner. She graduated from Dixfield High School, and later married Earsel Porter on March 25, 1939. He predeceased her on Sept. 15, 1992.

She is survived by four children, Carl Porter and his wife, Beverly, of Farmington, N.H., Lloyd Porter and his wife, Sandra, of Pittsfield, Dorian Jones and her husband, Robert, of Chesterville and Randall Porter and his wife, Kathleen, of East Jay; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and a son-in-law, Ralph Ellsworth of Farmington.

She was predeceased by three daughters, infant Susan Porter, Pauline Bailey and Patricia Ellsworth; and a son, Keith Porter.
