AUBURN — Nason Mechanical Systems Scholarship Committee has recently awarded academic scholarships from the Harry E. Nason Jr. and Frances J. Nason Scholarship Trust to four children and spouses of employees of the company.

The trust was established in 2006 and became available upon the death of Frances in 2009. Both Harry and Francis had an appreciation for post-secondary education, and having been former owners of Nason Mechanical Systems, established the scholarship to thank the many dedicated employees.

Scholarship recipients include Brian Bouchard of South Paris, attending Central Maine Community College; Rebecca Bouchard of Presque Isle, attending University of Maine Presque Isle; Christopher Boone of Turner, attending Central Maine Community College; and Angela Turgeon of Lisbon, attending University of Maine Orono.

The Scholarship Committee is accepting scholarships for the next academic year. They are available to all children, spouses, domestic partners and grandchildren of active employees of Nason Mechanical Systems.

Nason Mechanical Systems is an Auburn-based design/build HVAC and plumbing service and construction firm, operating in the Lewiston-Auburn area since 1933.
