INDUSTRY — A Mass of Christian Burial for James I. “Jim” Martin of Industry was held Friday, July 23, from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Farmington, with the Rev. Gallagher officiating, after a morning prayer service at the Wiles Remembrance Center, Farmington. Pattie Millette was the soloist, accompanied by organist Andrea Keirstead. The readings were recited by his son Matthew “Matt” Martin; his daughter Joanne Chancey and son-in-law, Dean Chancey served as eucharist ministers for Holy communion. At the conclusion of Mass, a personal eulogy was given by his daughter, Vicki Martin Dean. Pallbearers were Ryan Martin, Will Martin, Joseph Martin, James Martin, Kevin Smith and David Dean. After Mass, a family reception was held in the Parish Hall, hosted by the St. Joseph’s Altar Guild. After cremation, private family committal services at Lakeview Cemetery, Wilton.
