LEWISTON — Marc R. Poirier, a financial professional with AXA Advisors LLC in Lewiston, recently attended the company’s At Retirement Forum held at The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.

The Wharton summit consisted of two days of workshops taught by Wharton School faculty and industry experts. It was led by Dr. Olivia Mitchell, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans professor of Insurance and Risk Management at The Wharton School. Poirier earned a certificate in retirement planning and is one of nearly 700 financial professionals nationwide to complete this retirement planning education program.

Poirier has been honored with numerous company and industry awards for his outstanding professional performance, including the Veteran Service Award, Superior Achievement Award, Distinguished Service Award, The Centurion Award, Hall of Fame and the Hallmark I and Hallmark II Citations.

He resides in Lewiston with his wife and four sons.
