DIXFIELD — The 8th Martineau family reunion was held on July 25 at the home of Rita Girardin, 1390 Main St.

Joseph and Blanche Martineau had 11 children and five were present.

A potluck lunch was served and enjoyed by all in attendance. About 20 family members were present. It was decided to continue with the potluck lunch for future reunions and that the younger generation would plan the next reunion. The next reunion will be held at the home of Peter and Estelle Gill in Sabattus.

Bailey Gill was present from Colorado Springs, Colo., and Carol Oliver from Conway, N.H. Other members came from Sabattus, Wilton, Turner, Rumford, Dixfield, Standish and Buxton.
