MARQUETTE, Mich. — Constance Paige Kippax, 80, died comfortably at her home in Marquette, Mich. on Sunday, Aug. 1, after a long illness.

Born the daughter of Austin Paige and Helen Rokes Paige on Feb. 9, 1930, Connie was a longtime resident of Maine, where she taught high school for many years. An avid photographer and outdoorswoman, she was a fierce advocate for wildlife and land conservation.

She is survived by her children, Dr. Jan Kippax and Dr. Jill Leonard; their families; her extended family; many friends; and her beloved dogs.
