AUBURN — Singer-songwriter and indie recording artist Mary Murphy will perform Thursday, Aug. 12, at the Auburn Mall’s center court.

Her vocal and piano stylings include originals and covers that cross many genres, from blues and jazz standards to classic country.

A Maine native, Murphy has won numerous awards for performance and songwriting from the North American Country Music Associations International in Pigeon Forge. Tenn.

Joining her at the mall will be Maine musicians Steve McManus on drums and guitarist Sox.

The performance will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. People are urged to bring lawn chairs.
