LEWISTON — Virginia A. Norris-Sigurdsson, 76, of Hartford, passed away on Aug. 6, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer with her daughter by her side.

She was born in Camden, N.J., March 10, 1934, the daughter of the late William and Virginia (Lutz) Potter.

She worked for many years as a partner in the radio and TV business in New Jersey.

She was an assistant minister of the Augusta Spiritual Church and was co-founder of the Pinpoint of Light Spiritual Church and Camp in Hartford.

She enjoyed tending her many beautiful flower gardens, had many crafts, but especially enjoyed rubber stamping with her daughter, and loved her little dog Monte.

She is survived by her husband, Rupert; daughter, Ginny De Vault and husband, Randy, of Hartford; niece, Rosanna Toth and husband, Andy, of Lewiston; sister-in-law, Gwen Watts of Tumer; nephew, Haines Sigurdsson of Florida; and many other nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at both St. Mary’s Hospital and d’Youville Pavilion for the wonderful care given to her while she was there.

She was predeceased by a brother, Arthur Potter in 1993.
