AUBURN — Legacy Publishing Company of Westbrook, producer and publisher of personal development products for families, announces the hiring of Kevin Varney to be the manager of its Auburn sales center.

Varney has worked in the direct response industry for nearly 15 years, starting with his first call center job at Talk America in Portland. Most recently he was the sales manager of the CTA call center and, prior to that, he spent nearly three years working for Listen Up Contact Solutions, starting as a weekend overnight manager and quickly progressing to director of sales and finally becoming vice president of sales at that company.

He attended the University of Maine at Farmington and now lives in Auburn with his wife and son.
