NAPLES, Maine (AP) — A Maine sheriff’s department is awaiting a report from the medical examiner before determining the cause of death of a man found in Brandy Pond in the town of Naples.

The Cumberland County sheriff’s department says officials were called to the pond at about 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

The victim, identified as 56-year-old Brad S. Libby of Naples, was found submerged in about 6 feet of water.

Officials say the cause of death is awaiting the results of a report from the medical examiner.
