Many thanks to Naomi Schalit and the Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting for “Some now have second thoughts about fast-tracking wind” (Sun Journal, online version, Aug. 9). The article is accurate and thoughtful and gets beyond the pious platitudes that characterize most — not all, but most — of the reporting on wind power in Maine.
We need more journalists of Ms. Schalit’s kind.
