LEWISTON — Michel N. Labbe, 60, a resident of Leeds Street, Lewiston, died Thursday, Aug. 12, at Central Maine Medical Center with his family by his side, following a brief illness.
He was born Sept. 4, 1949, in Lewiston, the son of Armand and Antoinette (St. Hilaire) Labbe. He attended St. Dom’s High School in Lewiston.
Michel was a friendly, easy going person. He loved sports, especially the Red Sox. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Quinnell and her husband, Ben, of Auburn; his son, Chris Labbe of Lewiston; four grandchildren, Nick and Brandon Labbe of Turner, Emily Quinnell of Auburn and Devin Charest; his sister, Romande (Ronni) Tremblay of Lewiston.
He was predeceased by his parents; and his half brother, Eugene St.Hilaire.
