WEST PARIS — Madeline V. Goding, 97, of West Paris, formerly of Venice, Fla., passed away on Thursday, Aug. 19, at Ledgeview Living Center after a short illness.
She was born in Canton, Aug. 20, 1912, the daughter of Perley Dyke and Maude Davenport Dyke. She was married to Laurence L. Goding on Feb. 6, 1936, he passed away on Sept. 7, 1994. She was a member of the Pomona Lodge in Canton and Charity Rebekah Lodge in Livermore Falls.
She is survived by a daughter, Althea and her husband, Howard Conant, of West Paris; three grandchildren, Catherine Lajoie and her husband, Brian of Lewiston, Brian Conant of South Paris and Keith Conant of Buckfield; three great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a brother, John Dyke and his wife, Jean, of Canton; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband; brothers, Laurence, Edward, Chester, William, Harold and George: and sisters, Mary, Frances and Maude.
