ROGER N. JOURDAIN
1930 – 2010

LEWISTON — Roger N. Jourdain, 80, formerly of Lewiston and Lisbon Falls, died Thursday, Aug. 26, at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion, where he resided for the past year.

Born in Lewiston on July 27, 1930, a son of Joseph P. and Adele Garneau Jourdain, he was educated in Lewiston schools. He was married to the former Joline L. Lamontagne on Sept. 27, 1947. She died Aug. 2, 2005.

He was a former member of St. Mary’s Parish of Lewiston and Holy Trinity Church of Lisbon Falls. He was employed in maintenance at The Lamp Alzheimer’s Nursing Home in Lisbon. He loved his family and enjoyed playing guitar, playing cards, and watching a good John Wayne movie.

He is survived by three daughters, Cecile Nacri of Lewiston, Jacqueline Spear and partner, Doris Guenette, of Bowdoin, Doris Marquis and husband, Bradley, of Bowdoin;a son, Daniel Jourdain and wife, Frances, of Leeds; three grandchildren, Angelo Nacri, Joanne Dodson and Kelly Bublack; four great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Georgette Gilbert, of Lewiston.

He was predeceased by a sister, Laurette Gendron; and a brother, Henry Jourdain.
