Annual service

OQUOSSOC — The annual Seventh-Day Adventist Sabbath services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 4, at “The Log Church,” Route 4. A song service will begin at 9:15 a.m., followed by Bible study and worship. All are welcome to attend.

Public supper

JAY — A public supper will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at the North Jay Grange 10. Menu will include baked beans, casseroles, salads, coleslaw, rolls, beverages and dessert. Cost for adults is $ 7; 10 and under, $3.

Extension homemakers

INDUSTRY — The Clearwater Extension Homemakers will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at Shorey Chapel. The planned program is program planning and the fall state meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Fibromyalgia

MEXICO — A free fibromyalgia support group meeting will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3, at the Gregory Inn, 767 River Road. The group is put on by Irene Haynes, LMT, Sandee Conley and Mitzi Sequioa.

Class lunch

MEXICO — Members of the Mexico High School Class of 1953 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at the Mexico Chicken Coop.

Bridge play

RUMFORD — The Rumford Bridge Club met Aug. 25 at the Senior Center. Results are: first place, Clara Roy and Dee Holman; second place, Ozzie Swett and Alan Bradford; third place, Bob and Theresa Soucy. The club will meet again at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1. Anyone is welcome to come and join the games.
