LIVERMORE — The Red Hat Mommas of Western Maine held their August meeting at the Carriage House. A poem was read by the co-queen. There were no birthdays to report and the teapot exchange was not held.

Upcoming trips include: Saturday, Sept. 11, Cape Elizabeth Kitchen Tour, price is $20. Lunch will be at the Lobster Shack in Cape Elizabeth at member’s own cost. Participants will leave from the Dixfield Post Office at 8:30 a.m.

Also, Tuesday, Oct. 5, travel to the Panorama Grille at the Balsams in Colebrook, N.H. for lunch, order off the menu at own cost. A headcount is needed by Sept. 30. Those attending will leave from the Marden’s parking lot at 10 a.m.

The Wednesday, Oct. 27, lunch will be at the Central Maine Community College Culinary School, at the college in Auburn. Price details will be announced at a later date and a headcount is needed by Oct. 20. There will be no meeting in September.
