Two local golfers each recorded their first career hole-in-one in recent action.

Harold “Pop” Gilbert, 86, scored his first hole-in-one hole in on the 131-yard second hole at Fairlawn Golf Club in Poland. Elwin Peterson witnessed the achievement.

Scott Spencer achieved his milestone at Maple Lane Golf Course in Livermore on the par-3 third hole. Art Spencer, Sam Magro and Ronnie Knuuttilia witnessed the event.
