AUBURN – The Auburn Falcons middle school varsity football team opened its season in the Western Maine Football League Saturday with a 30-6 win over Poland at Walton Field.

Ian Mileikis’ three touchdowns and a score by Cam Nadeau fueled the Falcons. Other offensive standouts included William Curry III and Llewellyn Jensen.

Auburn’s defense held strong and allowed only a long touchdown pass by Poland.
