PARIS — Two teenagers admitted to taking part in a home invasion in Fryeburg last December.

Matthew J. Bodeau, 18, of 682 Haley Town Road in Brownfield and Cody Osgood, 19, of 346 Bridgton Road in Fryeburg, entered pleas in Oxford County Superior Court on Monday. Both admitted to two counts of assault and one count of criminal trespass. The trespassing charges replaced burglary counts.

Justice Robert Clifford accepted a plea agreement, sentencing both men to serve 60 days of 1-year prison sentences with one year of probation. The men must also each pay a $600 fine.

Bodeau and Osgood were charged in the incident, along with Brian K. Parmenter Sr., 38, of Kids Corner in Fryeburg and his son, Brian Parmenter II, 18, of Kids Corner. The group was accused of entering the North Fryeburg Road home of Burnham and Michelle Boucher after Burnham and his son allegedly accused the Parmenters of stealing from them.

According to a sworn statement from officer Nicholas Cole of the Fryeburg Police Department, the group assaulted Burnham and family friend Brian Saxe. Parmenter Sr. was accused of spraying the Bouchers, their 20-year-old daughter, Catherine Emery, and Saxe with mace or a similar substance. Parmenter II was accused of hitting Saxe with a metal folding chair.

Emery told police she recognized the Parmenters and later identified Bodeau and Osgood from photographs.

Parmenter Sr. is charged with burglary, two counts of assault and four counts of criminal use of a disabling chemical. Parmenter II is charged with burglary, two counts of aggravated assault and three counts of assault. Neither case has been resolved.
