As a supporter of Paul LePage for Maine’s next governor, I was somewhat taken aback but not surprised by the recent TV spots supported by the Democratic Governors Association.

The ads depicting flaming oil rigs and nuclear power plants reminiscent of Three Mile Island indicate the desperation and the sensationalism that exists in today’s politics.

Just who is this Democratic Governors Association? It is a group of Democratic governors who, among other things, react to governors’ races where  their candidate is in trouble.

It is apparent it will go to any length to divert the attention of the electorate away from the opposition, in this case Paul LePage, who clearly has them running scared, and justifiably so.

Mitchell is just more of the same.

We must all focus on the task at hand, and that is to get the message out to elect Paul LePage Maine’s next governor.
