AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer “Presentations Without Panic” from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays, Oct. 6 and 13. The cost of the program is $149 and includes materials.

In the interactive program, participants will learn how to overcome their fears of public speaking using simple tips to help prepare a purpose, develop persuasion points, plan the presentation and develop the confidence to speak in front of a group.

The course will be facilitated by Susan deGrandpre. She has a master’s degree in education from the University of Southern Maine and a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from the University of Massachusetts. She has been adjunct faculty at St. Joseph’s College and Southern Maine Community College.
