The fair ends Saturday with goat, draft horse and poultry shows, horse racing and pulling, musical entertainment and a demolition derby at 7 p.m.

After pulling 8,500 pounds at the Farmington Fair on Friday, Mike and Fred take a break with owner Wayne Sampson of Turner. The pair have worked together for six years and pull in the 3,400-pound category, Sampson said. He travels to pulling events on the state fair circuit with the pair and some steers.
