LEWISTON — Lionel and Jeannette Bergeron of Lewiston celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary recently at Holy Family Church, where they were married Sept. 2, 1950.

The Rev. Nathan March officiated at the renewal of vows. In attendance were their niece and nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Luke Bourassa and their son, Evan Bourassa, Constance Morin and daughter, Nicole Dyer, Robert Poissonier and sons, Cyle Poissonier and Joey Poissonier of Maryland, and friend, Jeannette St. Pierre.

A reception followed at the Jacques Cartier Hall, with many family and friends attending.

Mr. and Mrs. Bergeron have been spending their winters in Florida since 1982.
