LEWISTON — The Senior College “Food for Thought” luncheon program series at USM-Lewiston Auburn College on Friday, Oct. 8, will feature a presentation of “An Unusual View of the Shakers” by Leonard L. Brooks.

Director of the Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village Library and Museum since 1988, Brooks was educated at USM and Dartmouth College, and is a frequent course presenter for Senior College.

Senior College will present the noon luncheon in the Androscoggin Room 285 at USM-LAC on Westminster Street. The cost, which includes lunch, is $7 with advance reservation. The room will open at 11:30 a.m. Space for the event is limited. Early reservation is advised by phone at 753-6510 as “at the door” seating may not be available.
