RUMFORD — The Pennacook Art Center will open a new show at the River Valley Technology Center, 60 Lowell St.

The River Valley Growth Council and Pennacook invite the public to a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, in the Technology Center lobby, to meet the artists and view the art.

The show will feature paintings, drawings and photographs by local art professionals. The art is for sale through the Growth Council, and a portion of the proceeds will go to support their operations. The exhibit is available for viewing during the Technology Center’s regular office hours.
