AUBURN — Jeremy Marchessault, a member of the team at Austin Associates, PA, CPAs, received his Certified Public Accountant designation from the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Maine requires that applicants attain a bachelor’s degree or earn a master’s degree, pass all four written parts of the Certified Public Accounting exam and demonstrate two years of experience in public accounting.

Marchessault, an Auburn resident, joined the firm in 2005 and has managed a progressive comprehensive technology plan to move the IT infrastructure of the firm into a competitive position for the future.
