AUGUSTA — James “Jim” R. Audet, 54, of Winthrop, passed away Saturday, Sept. 25, of pancreatic cancer at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta, surrounded by family and friends.

Jim will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, along with his dedication to his family. A beloved husband, father, brother and friend, he was always there to lend a hand to anyone that was in need of something fixed. An avid hunter, motorcycle rider and to anyone that knew him, comedian, he has left behind many fond memories of laughter and love.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Audet; his father, Lionel Audet; daughter, Heather Canty and her husband, Joseph; son, Jacob Audet; daughters, Stephanie Wenzel and Samantha Wenzel; along with granddaughter, Shaylee Addison; and grandson, Pearson Joseph. Also surviving are his brothers, Daniel, Donald and Roger Audet; and a niece and nephew.

He is preceeded in death by his mother, Bernadette (Jalbert) Audet; and brother, Raymond Audet.
