LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Roland Bellefleur Sr. was celebrated by the Rev. Nathan March Friday at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul of the Prince of Peace Parish. Following a procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, Father March recited committal prayers, and the U.S. Navy Honor Detail played “taps” and presented our country’s flag to Roland’s son, Roland Bellefleur Jr. in recognition of his father’s service to his country during the Korean Conflict.
