JAY — An East Jay man was injured Thursday after the car he was driving left the road, hit a tree and flipped over, police Chief Larry White Sr. said Friday.
Zane Armandi, 21, was driving a 2002 Kia east on East Jay Road when the accident occurred at about 5:30 a.m., White said.
He was reported to have internal and external injuries and was flown to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, White said.
Armandi was not listed as a patient at the hospital Friday.
“We’re still investigating,” White said.
The car, belonging to his father, Gregory Armandi, was totaled, he said.
