DURHAM — Tom and Ellen Lynch of Durham are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Ellen Jean Lynch of Durham, to Stephen Lee Norwood of Sabattus, son of Gary Norwood of Sabattus and Sheryl Moore of Lisbon.

Miss Lynch is a 2009 graduate of Brunswick High School and is currently employed at Neat Freaks Cleaning.

Mr. Norwood is a 2008 graduate of Lisbon High School and a 2010 graduate of Central Maine Community College. He is currently attending the University of Southern Maine, majoring in construction management.

The wedding will be held on Sept. 24, 2011.
