The TRiO program at Central Maine Community College held a “welcome back” reception recently for new and returning students. It was an opportunity for current students to meet with several successful graduates to hear about life after CMCC. The alumni told their stories about transferring to a four-year college or university, applying to graduate school or transitioning to careers. The TRiO Student Support Services program is a federally funded initiative to expand educational access and achievement for academically under-prepared students meeting specific eligibility requirements.
