Apparently unconcerned that their relatives are almost distracted over their continued absence, the Misses Ferguson and Party who left home Wednesday night with a livery team were seen in Litchfield yesterday, having a fine time. Late in the afternoon, they were headed for Lewiston, but they have not arrived as yet. The parents of the girls cannot understand why the children should behave in this manner.

“Nancy” the chubby, pug-nosed little girl who has been delighting newspaper readers for more than 20 years will become a feature of The Lewiston Daily Sun comic page starting Oct. 10.

Channel 10 viewers can look forward to a new show this fall, “Obstacle Course,” highlighting Maine’s high schools and their students.
This 21-week series, premiering Oct. 19 at 7:30 p.m., will be a fast-paced quiz show, providing a sound, wholesome contest among competing schools, a WCBB spokesman said.
