Society meeting

DIXFIELD — Members of the Dixfield Historical Society will meet for the last time until spring at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14.

The evening will begin with a baked bean and hot dog supper for members and their guests. A business meeting will follow with the election of officers.

Class lunch

MEXICO — Members of the Stephens High School Class of 1955 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, at Dick’s Restaurant.

Public supper

RUMFORD — A public supper will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at the Rumford United Methodist Church on Linnell Street. The menu will include baked beans, meatballs, various casseroles and salads, coleslaw, pie and beverages.

The cost is $6 for adults and $2 for children.
