OES to meet

MECHANIC FALLS — Dwinal Chapter 28, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, at the Masonic Hall on Route 11.

Before the meeting there will be a potluck supper at 6:30 p.m. At 7 p.m., the Rainbow Girls of Lewiston Assembly 14 will be present to perform the ribbon ceremony. All members of the Order are welcome to the supper and meeting.

Grange meeting

DANVILLE — Danville Junction Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, at the hall. Past State Master Steve Verrill will be present to conduct the obligation ceremony on four candidates.

The program will be presented by Dana Coffin, chairman of the legislative committee. Refreshments will be served at the close of the meeting. All members and guests are welcome.

Cribbage results

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citirzens Cribbage League winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Oct. 7 were: first, Lucille Boisvert and Roger Labbe; second, Bob Leclair and Jim Craven; third, Joan Sampson and Sandra Oliver; fourth, Arnie Burgess, two player table; fifth, Lorraine Fillion and Steve Agurkis.
