LIVERMORE FALLS — Timothy Schwab of Livermore Falls has published a book titled “Dogboy,” a fast-paced thriller about a man incarcerated in a prison for violent criminals. There, the prisoners cannot remember their crimes, or their names.

They all have a seemingly programmed fear of the perimeter wall and the land beyond it; this fear grows within them as time passes. They hunt for animals that come over the wall at night. They war with one another and will murder a man for his food.

They fall victim to the vicious dogs that roam the decayed city in which they find themselves.

A new prisoner, Dogboy, befriends the dogs or, rather, they befriend him. They become his faction, his clan. Dogboy will completely change prison forever, but is it for better or worse?
