Incident Report Statistics

Between 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3,  and 12 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, patrol officers responded to 60 complaints.

Arrests/Summonses

On Oct. 5 – 12:24 a.m., 17-year-old Rumford male was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley with possession of tobacco products on Congress Street. Juvenile is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 2.

On Oct. 8– 12:15 a.m., Michael Litalien, 21, of Mexico was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley on Hosmer Lane with possession of a scheduled drug in a drug free safe zone. Litalien is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 2.

On Oct. 8– 12:15 a.m., John Welch, 22, of Mexico was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley on Hosmer Lane with possession of drug paraphernalia in a drug free safe zone. Welch is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 2.

Assault:

On Oct. 5 – 7:04 p.m., Ptl. Theriault investigated an incident where a female was assaulted by another female. Victim refused to press charges.

Theft:

On Oct. 8 – 4:42 p.m., Cpl. Maifeld investigated an incident of a $400 bicycle stolen from Holyoke Avenue in August. Bicycle was recovered in Mexico.

Wanted

Nikki Libby, 31, of Rumford is wanted on a Rumford District Court warrant for unpaid fines on a disorderly conduct.
