LEWISTON — The YWCA of Central Maine and Barclay’s Skindiver’s Paradise will offer a Junior Snorkel Adventure class for children from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22 and from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at the YWCA, 130 East Ave.

Junior Snorkel Adventure will start a child’s underwater experience in a positive and safe way. Children will learn all the basic techniques of snorkeling with special attention to proper equipment and care.

Attendees will need a bathing suit and a towel. The class is open to children ages 7 to 11. The fee is $50 for two one-hour sessions and upon completion of the class, children will receive a professional snorkel and mask that is properly fitted for them. The class will be facilitated by Barclay’s Skindiver’s Paradise.
