AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer “Negotiating for Mutual Gain” from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 12. The cost of the workshop is $99 and includes materials.
Participants will develop their communication skills as they learn to negotiate more effectively with others. Using a negotiating style profile tool, participants will identify their own negotiating styles and learn a step-by-step process to prepare them to effectively negotiate in any situation.
The workshop will be facilitated by Marylin Newell. Newell has her Doctorate of Philosophy in management and organization from Capella University and a Master of Science in adult education from the University of Southern Maine. Newell is an executive coach, seminar leader and registered counselor.
