AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer a workshop on time management from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 5. The cost of the workshop is $99 and includes materials.
In the session, participants will explore their relationship to time management. By understanding how planning and organizing their work and identifying their biggest time-wasters, participants will learn how to improve their time management skills. Key actions to reduce and eliminate time wasters and creating strategies for making the most effective use of time will be the highlights of the workshop.
The program will be facilitated by Marylin Newell. Newell has her Doctorate of Philosophy in management and organization from Capella University and a Master of Science in adult education from the University of Southern Maine. Newell is an executive coach, seminar leader and registered counselor.
