Who will help the senior citizens? Another year without an increase in Social Security could mean the difference between getting groceries for the month or heating a home; or getting medications.

I could go on and on, but the bottom line is government officials should leave the senior citizens alone. Instead of trying to fix their political errors with the money seniors need for survival, give seniors a chance to make it through these bad times.

People say I’m wasting my time writing about this problem; that it won’t change a thing. I hope they are wrong.
