RUMFORD — The Black Mountain of Maine operating board will be host an informational meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at the mountain.

The meeting is open to everyone, including the public and town officials who want to learn about the mountain operation, ownership structure, board make up and the finances of its operation.

The Chisholm Ski Club will host the US Cross Country Championships at Black Mountain the next two years, which will have a large impact on the mountain and the community. A lot has been going on at the mountain with construction to upgrade the Nordic facility to host the event. Any questions regarding the event will also be discussed.
