Lyndsay Pitcher

RUMFORD — Norman and Rebecca Gagnon of Rumford are announcing the engagement of their son, Ryan Gagnon of Rumford, to Lyndsay Pitcher of Rumford, daughter of Edward and Carri McPherson and Tom and Helene Pitcher, all of Rumford.

Miss Pitcher is a 2004 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and a 2005 graduate of Capilo Institute of Hair Design. She is employed at Northeast Bank in Bethel and at her business, Elite Hair Design.

Mr. Gagnon is a 2002 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and is currently attending Central Maine Community College for a degree in as an electrical technician. He is employed at Mountain Stream Electric in Byron.

A Sept. 24, 2011, wedding is planned at the family island at Richardson Lake.
