MADISON — June E. Jackson, 84, of Wilton, died early Sunday, Nov. 7, at Maplecrest Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Dayton, Ohio, Dec. 17, 1925, a daughter of William E. and Dorothy E. (Jones) Heffner and received her education in Ohio schools. She worked for Chase Bank for many years, before she and her husband Douglas moved to Wilton on Nov. 3, 1989.

She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and was a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine, where she had served as high priestess. June enjoyed her family, cheez-its, ice-cream and always enjoyed a good, cold beer.

She is survived by her daughters, Dawn Laquaglia and her husband, Lou, of Kettering, Ohio, and Vicki Hale and her husband, Gary, of St. Mary’s, Ohio; six grandchildren, Cara, Brandie, Bridgett, Dan, Traci and Doug; 12 great-grandchildren; an aunt, Irene Campbell of Waterville; three nephews; and a niece.

She was predeceased by her husband; and a brother, William E. Heffner Jr.
