DIXFIELD — Members of the Neighborly Senior Citizens met on Oct. 20 and observed their 41st anniversary with 59 present.

A roast pork dinner was put on by American Legion Post 100 and an anniversary cake was made by Justina Hatch. The meeting was conducted by President Connie Tutlis.

Observing October birthdays were Janice Swan, Millett Coffin and Louise Richard. Observing October anniversaries were Morton and Sandy Frost, 42 years; Bob and Louise Richard, 21 years; and Ken and Carol Rafuse, 50 years.

Door prize winners were Ken Rafuse and Beverly Childs. Entertainment was by Bing and Nancy Crosby.

The next meeting will be Wednesday, Nov. 17, with a potluck dinner and nickel beano after the meeting. Nickel beano is open to the public and doors will open at noon. Beano will be played from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

There is still room on the Dec. 6 trip to Indian Head. For more information, call Connie at 364-4189 or Carol at 364-4798. Neighborly Senior Citizens meets on the third Wednesday of each month and new members are welcome.

Nickel beano is held on the first Wednesday of each month with doors opening at noon. Nickel beano is also played from 6 to 9 p.m. every Monday night, with doors opening at 4 p.m. Monday night beano is for the benefit of the Neighborly Senior Citizens and the Sons of the American Legion of Post 100.
